This section provides information about configuring security to allow specific clients (remote hosts) to make connection to the local workstation.
Open the X-Win32 Configuration window. See Start Manual Configuration or Start Wizard Configuration.
Select the Security tab.
The illustration below shows the default settings - as no hosts are allowed, all attempted connections, including the sessions that are setup and request, will not be instantly allowed. Allow by Prompt can be enabled so that a request for approve or deny is presented for each attempt. For more information, see Allow by Prompt.
To enter a host address:
Press the radio button for Only allow these host addresses.
Press the Add button.
In the new window, Please enter a host name, enter the name of desired host, then press the OK button.
The host address is now displayed in the Allowed Host Addresses window.
Only the host addresses for known sessions should be entered.
