This section provides a summary of configuring a session with Wizard. For detailed information, refer to the Related Topics at the end of this section.
In some steps, the information that is requested is related to the selected connection method.
Open the Configuration window.
Select the Sessions tab.
Select the desired folder where the new session will be created.
Press the Wizard button.
In the Connection Method dialog, select the connection method and enter the name of the session.
The available connections are SSH, LIVE, rexec, rlogin, rsh, command, telnet, and XDMCP.
If XDMCP is selected:
Select the XDMCP connection: Query, Broadcast, or Indirect.
If Query or Indirect modes are selected, enter the host to which the session will connect, then click finish. Multiple hosts can be entered for Query mode.
If SSH, rexec, rlogin, rsh, or telnet is selected:
Enter the host to which the session will connect.
Enter your Login name and Password for that host. (If rsh was selected, the password will not be requested.)
Enter the command to be run, then click finish. The default command can be input by selecting the operating system of the host.
If LIVE is selected:
Enter the host to which the session will connect.
Enter your Login name and Password for that host.
Select the Desktop Type, Desktop Size and Desktop Depth of your session.
If command is selected:
Enter the target command to run on Windows.
Enter the default directory for the target.
The new session is then listed in the Sessions window.
