This section provides an example of manually configuring a session with the rexec connection.
Open the Configuration window and then open Connect Method. For more information, see Start Manual Configuration.
In the Connection Method window, highlight rexec and then press the Next button.
The New Session (rexec) window opens.
Select the General tab and enter the information appropriate for your connection.
Select the Advanced tab.
In this example, the default parameters are used. If necessary, modify the parameters for your session.

Press the Save button.
If Shared Session was selected, the following message box will appear. To save the session, click Yes.
The new session now appears in the Session window.
To view the basic configuration of the session, place the mouse over the desired session in the list.
At this point, the session can be launched. If an error occurs while launching the session, information can be viewed in the log file. For more information, see About Launch Sessions.
