Upgrading to X-Win32 6.1 results in a blank xterm
Upon upgrading to X-Win32 6.1 if your xterm windows are now blank (i.e. they do not have any text in them), then you might be having a problem with your misc font directory for X-Win32 . In addition, you may notice that the previously installed versions of X-Win32 now have the same problem as well.
This problem was fixed in the last X-Win32 6.1 installers that were made available; if you are currently encountering this problem, please visit the Upgrade page to obtain the latest X-Win32 6.1 installer.
Alternatively, please consider upgrading to X-Win32 7.1 or later, which now includes fonts used only by that installation of X-Win32 instead of the shared font folder used by X-Win32 7.0 and earlier. This font installation scheme continues in X-Win32 8 and later as well.
