User interface translations: Specifying the language to use
X-Win32 8 and later
X-Win32 8 installs and supports 29 user interface languages by default. X-Win32 8 automatically selects the user interface language based on the language and region (or locale) selected in Windows’ Regional and Language Options Control Panel, pictured below. If a translation is available for the language you have selected, then X-Win32 8 will show the user interface in that language; if no translation is available, then the user interface will run in English.
NOTE: You do not need a multiple-language version of Windows XP to cause X-Win32 8 to run in a non-English language; the Windows language setting that X-Win32 follows can still be changed in single-language versions of Windows XP.

X-Win32 7.1 and earlier
X-Win32 7.1 and earlier support 6 user interface languages. The language used by X-Win32 7.1 and earlier is determined by the language selected from the drop down list when the X-Win32 installer is launched; the selected language is the only language that will be installed, so there is no way to change the user interface language of X-Win32 7.1 and earlier for each specific user. You may change to another language by uninstalling X-Win32, then reinstalling and selecting a different language from the drop down list presented by the installer on startup.
