RENDER Extension Support

It is very easy to see the improvements that the RENDER Extension makes in the visual appearance of graphics, even in simple applications, so we have put together two Flash screenshots below to help you see how much nicer X-Win32 8 looks compared to X-Win32 7.1 and earlier.

    • Notice how the edges of the icons are smooth and each icon label has a clean drop shadow in X-Win32 8.
    • Compare this to the jagged edges of the Trash icon and the fuzzy text in X-Win32 7.1.
  • Konqueror button bar
    • Notice how the disabled icons on the left are smoothly grayed out in X-Win32 8.
    • Compare this to the black and gray dot pattern displayed in X-Win32 7.1.
