X-Win32 Flash is identical in functionality, features, performance and price to our X-Win32 flagship product. But X-Win32 Flash installs and runs from just about any USB flash drive, including regular USB sticks and SD memory cards that plug into cell phones, cameras and other devices. Basically: if you can connect the memory device to the Windows PC, you can run X-Win32 from it.

With X-Win32 Flash end users can access their X Windows applications from any Windows machine instantly. Simply plug your X-Win32 Flash USB key into any Windows computer and run your sessions, Nothing is installed on the host PC or remains after to disconnect the device.
X-Win32 Flash meets the growing demand for flexibility and mobility. Engineers, developers and network manager typically need to access their X hosts from Windows computers in any number of locations: office, conference room, lab, classroom, home, customer site, hotel, Internet café, manager’s office, etc.
Traditionally, you’d have to install the X server onto each new machine. That may require a call to the IT department for permission and a license. Products sold on a per-seat basis, may also require a license purchase.
And when you have finally installed the X server, you have to recreate the session(s) to access your remote hosts. With many engineers maintaining dozens of sessions to applications on a variety of hosts, setting up these sessions is a lot of work. For many, accessing the X Windows applications from another machine is simply not worth the headache.
X-Win32 Flash breaks through all of that. After copying your sessions to the X-Config tool on the flash drive, you can plug the device into any Windows host PC and run your sessions. Nothing gets installed on the host PC and nothing remains when you unplug the device.

USB keys have been giving some IT managers the jitters in case employees loses the device. In response, StarNet has made X-Win32 Flash available in four varieties:

Your Own USB Flash drive: Simply download X-Win32 Flash to your desktop. Clicking the desktop icon will automatically install Flash to your USB key.

Unprotected USB Flash Drives: StarNet will ship X-Win32 on generic USB drives, ranging from 2 to 4 GB. These devices do not offer any data protection

X-Win32 Flash Secure: These devices are protected by Fingerprint and Password Authentication. Only the person with a matching fingerprint can access the data on the drive that also offers a file encrypt/ decrypt function and supports single or multiple users by saving up to 10 different fingerprints. You may also lock the PC and allow only authorized users to access the protected PC

X-Win32 Flash Ultra Secure: These 1 & 2 GB flash military-grade USB drives use the IronKey USB drives from Ironkey (www.ironkey.com). The titanium-based devices are password-protected and also encrypt any data that it is stored on the drive. The devices are so rugged they are tamperproof and even waterproof. And data is also backed up automatically, in encrypted form, onto a secure network server.
