This product was developed for Microsoft's Services for Unix 3.5. Recently, Microsoft has removed LX from its web site as the company has decided to move Interix and other SFU components into the UNIX subsystem of Windows Vista and server 2003 R2. SFU is still available and will be supported for a couple more years. But no new upgrades will be made available. For these reasons, StarNet has decided to discontinue the general availability of X-Win32 LX.

• Existing LX license holders can request a renewal of their license for one additional year or by purchasing a permanent license for $60. Please submit your request to X-Win32 LX Request.
• OEM and corporate site licenses for X-Win32 LX are also still available for an annual maintenance cost ranging from $30 to $60. Contact X-Win32 LX Request.

The regular version of X-Win32 is still available for purchase or a 1-month trial download.
