.xkb: Cant access. Using default keyboard.

If you receive the error below, then the version of X-Win32 that you have does not include a keyboard file for the keyboard that you are using in Windows.

You can do one of two things:

  1. Manually select a similar or otherwise workable keyboard on X-Config’s Input tab
  1. Upgrade to X-Win32 8, which increases the automatically detected keyboard layouts from 27 automatically detected keyboards to 137+
