Window Manager

X-Win32 2011 and later ships a window manager fluxbox.exe which allows windows to be moved and repositioned when running in single window mode.

To launch the window manager:

  1. Open X-Config
  2. Create a New Connection > Manual
  3. Select More… > command
  4. Give the Connection a Name
  5. For the Target, Browse for fluxbox.exe located in the directory X-Win32 was in stalled in (example c:\Program Files\StarNet\X-Win32 2011\)
  6. Press the Save button
  7. Launch X-Win32 in Single Window Mode
  8. Launch the Window Manager Connection
