How to Remove Custom Sessions?


Issue

FastX by default has a Custom Session as an Application. Users can launch their own applications by clicking on the Custom Session application. Administrator can remove this feature from the user.

Solution

  1. Log into FastX via a browser as an administrator
  2. Go to the Admin setting
  3. Go to Users > Permissions
  4. Scroll down and check the box “Enable Limited Users”
  5. Uncheck the box “Start Session with Custom Command”
  6. Click on the “Save” button

The Custom Session will not be displayed to the user in the session manager.

Note: Administrator and managers will still have the Custom Session available.
