Logging in to the Browser Client

The FastX Browser Client is installed with the FastX Server.  The FastX Browser Client is written entirely in Javascript meaning no plugin is required to install.  By default the FastX Web Server runs on HTTP port 3000 and HTTPS port 3443

  1. Open a Web Browser
  2. Navigate to http://yourserver.example.com:3000
  3. A Log In page will appear

  4. Enter in your SSH username and password
  5. Press Log In

SSH Authentication Through the Browser

The FastX Browser Client uses SSH authentication to log a user in. Multiple SSH authentication methods are supported such as Password, Challenge/Response, Dual Factor, One Time Password (OTP), and even public key authentication.
