Windows License Server Installation

Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, 11 (64-bit, 32-bit)
Windows Server 2003 and later (64-bit, 32-bit)
Windows 2000 (32-bit)

RLM 64-bit version not supported

1. Download the RLM License Server package by clicking on the Windows icon

2. Create the following folder on your Windows host

C:\RLM

3. Extract the rlm.x86_w.zip(RLM License Server package) download into the C:\RLM folder

4. Open a Windows Command Prompt as an Administrator

5. Type the following command in the Windows Command Prompt

cd C:\RLM

6. Then type the following command to install the RLM License Server

rlm.exe -dlog "C:\RLM\rlm.log" -install_service

7. Start the RLM service by typing the command

net start rlm

**To disable the RLM License Server, type the command

rlm.exe -delete_service

Note: The RLM License Server installs with an interactive webpage, please go to the following URL

http://localhost:5054

There are two logins: admin and user with no passwords We recommend changing the password after logging in.
